Overview: Goals of the Halacha Yomit Program

    musagim

  • The Halacha Yomit provides your students with a pleasant method of learning basic Jewish concepts and halachot. Through the Halacha Yomit program your students can learn these halachot several times during their years in school, thereby guaranteeing that regardless of how they continue their future studies, these halachot will always remain with them. The program is a fantastic method of review for those topics the students covered in regular classroom study.

    bein adam lachaveiro

  • Special attention is given to topics dealing with behavior amongst friends, such as: Lashon hara, onaat devarim, kibud av va-em, kibud morim etc.....

    kviut

  • The program gives kviut to Torah study. This method can be used to teach one short halacha every school day, including days of school/class trips, and other special activities. The Halacha Yomit is set up in accordance with each schools' calender so that no halachot will be skipped.

    chanoch lanaar...

  • The Halacha Yomit is in short, bite- sized pieces, in a question and answer form that facilitates its' study. The time needed to learn the daily material is nominal, yet the material often provides fertile ground for interesting classroom discussions

    etlilmod

  • A week or two before Chag (holiday) is dedicated to the laws of the holiday. This enables teachers to deal with different topics during regular classroom hours, effectively empowering the teacher to cover more material before each Chag.

v'hagita bo yomam valaila

  • The schools participating in the program have found that the material provides a great base for school-wide Halacha contests(hidonim), thus creating an atmosphere of learning and fun.

    Ivrit

  • The program is in Ivrit, with difficult words translated, providing an additional caveat to the program - improvement of your students Hebrew language skills.
